Each National Panhellenic sorority from University of Arkansas and University of Central Arkansas are available! If they sell well I will have more! Their recruitment was last weekend and it looks like each house received a huge number of girls!!! Those were some of the best days of my life!

I finally have an easier way to get to my online shop! It's the same shop with a direct link! The new address is www.ellebands.com. You can also now pay with a Visa, MasterCard, Discover, or American Express! Paypal is still available too! 

I've added a new section for headbands as well as a section for my Burlove line of burlap sacks for those who do not have an Etsy account! As orders come in daily, I will be adding more headbands! A lot of people took advantage of the FREE SHIPPING weekend! I was really happy to offer seeing as we can all use a little break every now and again! Since I still have a lot of products on back order and being shipped this week, I'm going to extend the free shipping until Friday!

Oh yeah about that back order: So many collections with silver, gold, and charcoal gray went like hot cakes this weekend! It wiped out all my silver and gold! So, I've ordered more but it may be mid week before they are here. If you order something with those colors, I will offer to replace the missing color or ship the item to you as soon as it comes in. As I told a customer the other day, gotta keep my people happy! =)

I'm working on headbands. A lot of people have requested them and I can't believe I'm still "working" on them. I want to be able to offer as much as I can to everyone and different options.

ALSO!!!! If you've received your order, I need pictures! I need feedback! Let me know what you love about them, hate about them, or just take pics of you wearing them! So excited!

The hair ties were launched SATURDAY and I have to say I'm extremely humbled and excited about the response! I'm busy snipping, typing, and wrapping collections even while working on the ambulance (for those that don't know I'm an EMT full time)! When I'm home I'm working on burlap orders, creating collections, and finalizing orders! I'm loving it!! Stay tuned! I plan to offer a different collection every day for the next 2 weeks! Then we'll have a new collection or 2 every week!! It's so fun being a girl!!!

What a WEEK! What a FUTURE!

I can't say enough how excited I am to get these hair ties launched! I've had quite a few inquiries on wholesale purchasing! I can't wait to get these things going! So many colors! So many options! I'll be back home tomorrow and buckling down! I've got a few burlaps to complete and collections to finish. Thank goodness for good friends and family! Eric is leaving to go back to Turkey tomorrow morning. My heart aches but flutters too! He's extremely proud of me and will be back in February! Six months, let's fly by! Almost There!

As I lay here with just 2 more nights with Eric, I can't help but be sad, but be excited all at the same time! I have all of these amazing hair band, now elle<3bands, collections coming in and ready to sell next week, I'm building business practices everyday and getting more organized than I've ever been, and I have a wonderful and super supportive fiance who believes in me and that makes this all worth it! I can't wait to get started and see him again in January! (oh yeah, he gets to come back for a month in January! Yay!!) Love you guys! Thank you for believing in me too! =)

Introducing elle bands!

So I've been working to come up with a name for my hair bands. I've gone through it all! I've finally decided to call them elle bands! Elle stands for Erin Leigh Lannon (Eric). Thought it was was fitting! Stay tuned for a possible full company name change after my nuptials.  =)

Out of Town - With good reason!

Well, this week I'm out of town because after 6 agonizing months, my fiance and I are finally able to see each other! I will be in Huntsville, AL for 9 days! He's been on assignment in Turkey with the Air Force and will be until May of 2014! It's extremely hard but he's totally worth it! I can't wait for him to come home for good! However I'm still working on my hair ties and adding new things to my etsy shop! Getting ready to start the hair tie launch! Extremely excited! Especially since I've received a couple of wholesale orders! Can't wait to show you all of them!

Hair Ties - The BEST ever!

Last Christmas my mom gave me a set of hair ties that I'd never seem or heard about. I tried them out & immediately became OBSESSED! Something so simple, yet versatile, & stylish! I made a new friend recently who is opening up a boutique in town called Pretty Posh Boutique! I was fortunate enough to create her business sign which turned out beautiful! While creating her sign I started thinking of things I could add to my business. As I was searching for a hair tie to keep my hair out of the paint, I reached for my emi-jay hair tie & VOILA! They are extremely hard to find but easy to make! The color combinations are what inspire a lot of my paintings so I looked into it! Guess what? Starting August 1 I will start offering my own line of hair ties. Still deciding on a name for them but until then I'm extremely excited to offer these to my customers & hopefully to the customers at Pretty Posh Boutique!
